SAMORA MENTAL HEALTH THERAPEUTICS
Therapist in Fresno for ADHD:
Real Help.
No Judgment.
Finally.
Feels like this every day
You feel like you can’t keep track of what you’re supposed to be doing if it’s not something you’ve done a thousand times already
It’s hard to focus on much of anything and you feel like you get nothing done because of it.
You know today’s gonna be busy, feels like so many things to do and never enough time to do them, even the little things like remembering a lunch, making coffee, and having breakfast all feel like a chore.
You feel like you don’t fit in with others, it seems like everyone else makes it all look so easy. You just keep waiting for the day you can take a break but then that feels like it goes by so quickly and it’s back to the grind.
Your Brain Isn’t Broken. We Just Need a Different Operating Manual.
I’m Anthony Samora, a specialized ADHD and Trauma Therapist focused on helping those who are tired of feeling unmotivated, disconnected, and weighed down by the daily grind feel ready to take on the day again.
Together, we work toward rediscovering your energy, confidence, and sense of self—so you can stop just surviving and start actually living.
For nearly 10 years, I’ve specialized in supporting neurodivergent clients through therapy in Fresno and across California.
Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s tailored to how your brain works, and it meets you where you’re at. That means you won’t just hear generic advice that doesn’t apply to you. Instead, we’ll collaborate to build strategies that actually fit your life.
What this has looked like for others is giving them permission to do steps in a task while improving comfort with finishing the task later; learning to gauge your energy levels and work with them; and improving prioritization skills.

How Often Should I Go To Therapy In Fresno?
In therapy with me, we would start with weekly sessions and if your feeling you're making the progress you want to see, we'll decrease that to every other week, eventually moving to monthly and preparing for graduation. Everyone's situation is different.
What Should I Not Say To A Therapist?
Simplest rule here is to just be honest. Lying or hiding how you're truly feeling will usually make therapy harder and take longer. This includes being honest about what's working for you and what isn't working for you in therapy.
The more open and honest we can be with one another, the more we can find what you're looking for to start feeling better sooner.

How Long Is a Typical Therapy Session?
Typically, sessions last from 45-60 minutes depending on your particular needs. However, some sessions can run longer as some people have a preference to do Therapy Intensives which can run up to 6 hours (these are only done at your request and are separate from what insurance covers in therapy).
Do I need an official ADHD diagnosis to work with you?
No—many of my clients come without a formal diagnosis but still experience the symptoms of ADHD and benefit from therapy. I also work with many other mental health concerns and you don't have to be diagnosed with them to start with a Therapist in Fresno.
How long does therapy take?
Everyone is different, while in therapy with me, most of my client's see meeting a goal around 15-20 sessions.
Will therapy actually help me get things done?
Yes. Therapy helps you build personalized tools for focus, organization, and follow-through, while also supporting your emotional well-being.
